Client is seeking a UI/UX designer to help with designing new web components and features for both a Human Service Agency website and the newly launched Intranet. Consultant will be redesigning and redeveloping much of the site form the ground up. The designer’s role will be to work with end clients, the client’s Communication’s Team, to translate their new feature requests into wireframes and polished mockups that match new branding guidelines, meet the functional requirements and fit seamlessly into public-facing site that’s designed with our user’s needs in mind. For the new Intranet, client will be moving at a slower pace, but will be looking to add new site components and features to meet internal user’s needs; which requires wireframe and mockups to be created here as well.

Task 1: Website Redesign

• Lead the strategy, building and redesign of our HSA intranet (revamp)
• Determine user needs we want to meet
• Interface and visual design
• Requirements analysis
• Wireframes

• Develop a user experience and architecture that meets the needs of stakeholders/end users
• Develop new capabilities
• Completed website redesign

Task 2: Project Management

• Work with internal stakeholders to understand needs
• Create a project roadmap, distributing roles and tasks

• Project plan
• List of tasks to brief to stakeholders
• Strategic briefing

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, 2 years of which within government agencies.
2. At least one (1) project designing new components and features for government agency intranet
3. 3+ years of experience in the following:
   1. Developing and implementing user experience research, with Proven experience in the role as a Design Researcher.
   2. Using an AGILE or other iterative approach to design, develop and deploy digital products, websites and services.
   3. Google Analytics.
4. 2+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer
5. Demonstratable experience creating low- and high-fidelity wireframes, personas & profiles, experience maps or service design blueprints (or other relevant deliverables)
