Data Architect
This position is accountable for providing and implementing end-to-end Data Marketplace solution to implement the Data As a Service.
Qualifications:JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Technical Skills):
- Minimum education requirement is Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or related field,
- 12+ years of experience in designing, developing, configuring, tuning, and deploying Data Integration, Data Lake & Data Warehouse solutions
- Should be well versed with the Data As a Service and Data Marketplace concepts
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience On-prem (Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle etc) and Cloud (AWS, GCP) Data Ecosystem
- Should have an expert level of proficiency in Data Virtualization preferably using IBM Cloud Pak for Data.
- Should have the basic knowledge of Data processing tools like IBM DataStage, Informatica, AWS Glue, GCP Dataflow.
- Should have the working knowledge of any visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight)
- Should have an experience of Data Modeling and Metadata Management
- It will be an added advantage if the candidate is having an understanding of Java Spring boot and UI (Angular/React)
- Experience working with multiple data platforms including relational databases, Big Data systems & Cloud Platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Data Platforms structure, systems and architecture best practises.
- Communication (written, verbal and listening), planning, coordination, organization, collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively communicate within the team and other teams.

Responsibilities:

- Understanding/Analysing the implicit/explicit Data Marketplace implementation requirements by interviewing Business and technical SMEs
- To provide the best-in-class Solution Architecture and Design for a given set of requirements.
- Due diligence, analysing existing data platform, requirement gathering & solutioning
- Interact with Business Users and provide Strategy on Data As a Service.
- Support and resolve any technical challenges during project implementation.
- Provide trainings as and when needed
