Position: Data Analyst (Hadoop/ Teradata)

Location: Irving, TX

Duration: Contract

Rate:$68/hr on C2C

- 6+ years of experience in researching & discovering data from key business systems on prem (Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle) and on-cloud (AWS, GCP)

- Should be well versed with the Data As a Service and Data Marketplace concepts

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in assessing data quality and map data to requirements for Data As a Service

- Should have an ateast 2 years of Data Modeling and Metadata Management experience.

- Should have basic understanding of Data Virtualization preferably using IBM Cloud Pak for Data.

- Should have the basic knowledge of any one Data processing tools like IBM DataStage, Informatica, AWS Glue, GCP Dataflow.

- Advanced SQL skills for analysis, standardizing queries, and building data platform involving large-scale relational and non-relational datasets

- Should have the working knowledge of any one visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight)

- It will be an added advantage if the candidate is having an understanding of Java Spring boot and UI (Angular/React)

- Passion for detail and data quality, an ability to identify weaknesses in data and process, and a willingness to drive improvement

Responsibilities:

- Understanding/Analysing the implicit/explicit Data Marketplace implementation requirements by interviewing Business and technical SMEs

- To provide the data cleansing and data transformation rules as part of mapping documents

- To design the Data Model for Data Marketplace

- To define and maintain the metadata for data assets

- Interact with Business Users and define requirements for Data As a Service.
