Project Coordinator, Financial Strength & Risk Management
- Understands and follows PMBOK and Agile project management frameworks to manage risks and facilitate the delivery of projects within scope, schedule, and cost constraints
- Consistently provides effective status reporting that contains the appropriate level of actionable detail for Executive, Sponsor-level, and project team recipients
- Assists in creating and maintaining accurate project budgets and actively manages costs throughout project lifecycle
- Executes proper change control processes to provide transparency and effectively manage scope, schedule, and cost
- Proficiently leverages Project Management tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, PPM and budgeting software to ensure high-quality project deliveries
- Adheres to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to change management, incident reporting, time accounting, expense reporting, purchase requisition processes, and compliance requirements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of recent experience working as an IT Project Coordinator within a matrixed or co-sourced environment reporting to a Senior IT Project Manager
- Experience working on enterprise projects in the Utilities industry
- 5+ Recent experience in Energy & Utilities or services industry is a must
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
- CA-PM or Project Management Professional (PMP) is a BIG PLUS!
- Experience documenting project plans, meeting minutes
- Understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment
- Experience providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
- Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills and the ability to conduct presentations to large groups
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)
- Valid driver's license
Preferred:
- Master's degree (in aforementioned fields)
- PMP Certification
