JOB DETAIL

 

Project Coordinator, Financial Strength & Risk Management

  • Understands and follows PMBOK and Agile project management frameworks to manage risks and facilitate the delivery of projects within scope, schedule, and cost constraints
  • Consistently provides effective status reporting that contains the appropriate level of actionable detail for Executive, Sponsor-level, and project team recipients
  • Assists in creating and maintaining accurate project budgets and actively manages costs throughout project lifecycle
  • Executes proper change control processes to provide transparency and effectively manage scope, schedule, and cost
  • Proficiently leverages Project Management tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, PPM and budgeting software to ensure high-quality project deliveries
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to change management, incident reporting, time accounting, expense reporting, purchase requisition processes, and compliance requirements

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of recent experience working as an IT Project Coordinator within a matrixed or co-sourced environment reporting to a Senior IT Project Manager
  • Experience working on enterprise projects in the Utilities industry
  • 5+ Recent experience in Energy & Utilities or services industry is a must
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
  • CA-PM or Project Management Professional (PMP) is a BIG PLUS!
  • Experience documenting project plans, meeting minutes
  • Understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment
  • Experience providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
  • Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills and the ability to conduct presentations to large groups
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)
  • Valid driver's license

 

Preferred:

  • Master's degree (in aforementioned fields)
  • PMP Certification
