- Create reusable, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested solutions
- Mentor and motivate others around you with your passion and expertise
- Collaborate with product owners and other engineers on building high quality features
- Capable of owning projects through design, implementation, and deployment
- Effectively prioritize workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
- Write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to various audiences
- Gather requirements, write functional/technical specifications, and communicate them effectively
- Communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years professional Java web application experience
- Work experience as a Senior Java Developer or similar role.
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Java EE
- REST API development experience
- Experience writing tests using JUnit and Mockito
- Relational DB experience.
- Confident working with modern development tools such as Git and Maven
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum concepts and experience working in an Agile environment
- Strong communication skills to interface with product owners, stakeholders, and team members
- A strong desire to learn new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Front-end development: modern JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Angular, React, etc.
- Experience developing Microservices
- Spring Cloud
- Experience working with message queues
- Oracle Database experience
