ETL Developer

Responsibilities include;

· Requirement review including data insight and validation, source identification.

· Data source to target mapping including business logic and enrichment requirements.

· Data modelling and schema/table support when required for new data

· Extract, transform and load integration development using Informatica PowerCenter

· Create REST based API’s as methods to provision data to downstream consumers

· Perform unit, integration and acceptance testing as required for in-work products

· Support and maintain solutions in a production environment

· Perform as a member of an agile product mode team in which flexibility and willingness to take new tasks are essential.

Required skills;

· 3 years’ experience as an ETL developer using Informatica PowerCenter 9.x or higher.

· Solid understanding of Star Schema data modelling.

· Strong ability to work with customers to determine requirements with a focus on data analysis ensuring accuracy and reliability.

· Solid understanding of the principles of data governance and management as it pertains to quality, reliability and integrity.

· Solid understanding of data warehousing as a service.

· Solid understanding of relational databases specifically Oracle.

· Basic understanding of DevOps principles.

· Experience working within an Agile team.

· Must know parsing of JSON or XML data via API call using Java transformation.

Additional Skills of interest

· Experience with data pertaining to Enterprise/Corporate functions like Supply Chain, Human Resources and Finance.

· Experience with SAP Enterprise data sources. Specifically Business Warehouse using Open Hub.

· Experience using dashboarding and reporting tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

· Experience with SQL Server, MariaDB, MySQL and Snowflake databases.

· Experience with Data Vault.
