Senior .NET Developer/ Architect with 3+ years of Investment Banking experience (stocks, bonds, or derivatives etc). Must be very strong in C#, SQL, Entity Framework, JavaScript, DevOps (CI/CD), and cloud experience. Must have strong communication skills. Candidate must be local to North East and willing to relocate to Boston eventually.

The role includes:

● Create a new data system made of micro services and SQL Server databases that will be the backbone of a financial company’s needs.

● Collaborate with the team to review legacy infrastructure and legacy data integration, and create resulting next generation applications for the new platform.

● Support the greenfield development of the new platform by determining organizational needs, coordinating stakeholders, and utilizing best practices to influence the overall architecture of the database.

Position Requirements

● University degree or college diploma in the field of Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent

● Minimum of 2 years architecting and supporting a software system on a cloud service (preferably Azure)

● Strong communication skills, both written and oral, as the candidate will be interacting frequently with firm executives and senior level management

● Capable of multitasking and having the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks

● Must be motivated and have attention to detail

● Must be passionate about technology

Technical Best Fit

● At least 5 years of experience with:

○ C#

○ Entity Framework

○ T-SQL

○ Angular or equivalent JavaScript framework

○ Agile / Scrum process ○ Test driven development / behavior driven development

○ DevOps / VSTS (CI/CD features)

○ Investment Management domain knowledge

● General experience (2 – 5 years)

○ Developing Web applications.
