client is hiring a Lead Software Developer for a Fortune 50 client in the Ad Sales/Telecom space. This group is working on a highly visible platform with bleeding edge technology. The role is a significantly hands-on (90/10) architect-level position their org classifies as “Specialized Software Developer IV".

Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and

application programs. Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents. Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback. Collaborates with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency. Participates in architecture, design and code reviews. Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.

• Application Stack:
  • Angular v10 front end
  • Java/Node.js back end
  • Amazon Aurora Database architecture - MySQL and PostgreSQL-compatible
    • Potential data warehousing migration to Snowflake in the works as well
  • Serverless framework (required LAMBDA functions written in Python)
  • DevOps: GitHub repo, AWS CodeBuild for CI/CD, Deployment
  • Release after every sprint (2 week sprints); Kanban working environment; not Scrum
  • Unit Testing: Jasmine, but may be moving/have moved to something else
  • Team collaboration: Slack
  • Issue Tracking: JIRA

• Requirements:
• 10 Years of experience as a Developer
• 90% hands on coding, 10% Architecture/Lead
