2 Techno Functional EWM positions to help our client through a pre production/go live phase
The client is asking for 2 EWM techno functional roles to help with receiving, grief resolution, teaching and problem documentation for 8-12 weeks. It would be onsite in central Illinois.
This role of Techno Functional – Extended Warehouse Management(EWM) who will support the Live Factory Division in the Operational Technology Department. You will be gathering requirements from customer business units while working on multiple simultaneous projects that will consist of deploying software and Operational Technology solutions. Leveraging your manufacturing, supply chain and technical skills, you will design, develop, test and implement Live Factory Operational Technology (OT), create and execute EWM solutions, SAP cloud and analytical tools, reports and dashboards. Further, this role will be responsible for the following:
- Experience leading solution selection, design, and implementation as part of a project team & overseeing the activities of technical resources to deliver solutions.
- Experience as a solution architect on 5 or more projects from selection to implementation.
- Develop and execute Live Factory Project through collaboration with the c5mi Manufacturing, Supply Chain and the Off Shore technical teams.
- Manage and delivered Live Factory Project to the Customer.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP and other common business system platforms.
- Lead/Support Operational Technology D4 (Discover, Define, Design, Deliver) assessment process as part of c5mi Operational Excellence Assessment Protocol and Program.
- Practical experience communicating technical concepts to the business and project teams;
- Ability to lead a team and perform Assessment at the customer site.
JOB DUTIES:
- Develop and deliver Live Factory Operational Technologies in a Common Operational Picture (COP) approach that is coordinated with c5mi Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes that create Operational Intelligence (OI), financial and customer centric integrated data solutions, analytics, dashboards and KPI metrics.
- Provide analysis and development support for SAP Leonardo Platform products; fully understand the capabilities and limitations of SAP Leonardo products, SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, Manufacturing Execution, HANA Data Analytics, SAP Lumira, Tableau and Business Objects tool sets.
- Execute the governance of Operational Intelligence (OI) tools and data management, work closely with c5mi Manufacturing and Supply Chain team as well as Yash and Partner network to ensure alignment.
- Garner deep functional knowledge of data, processes, integration points with ERP systems and industry best practices for OT and OI.
CapaBIlities and Success Factors
- Extensive experience within supply chain and manufacturing operations.
- Ability to engage customers in providing Live Factory solutions as part of pre-sales and delivery.
- Strong background in legacy manufacturing, supply chain applications, SAP/Non-SAP ERP solutions and Operational Intelligence reporting tools.
- Extensive knowledge of ERP and SAP EWM best practice, business processes and data structures.
- SAP EWM extensive Functional experience is REQUIRED.

Skills & Experience Required:
- Demonstrated capacity to create professional architecture deliverables as support for the project (significant decisions, roadmap, logical/physical viewpoints, etc..).
- Minimum 5-10 years in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Quality or Operations roles.
- Experience in developing and utilizing business intelligence reporting and dashboards.
- Experience in S&OP planning cycle to include all aspects of materials management & production planning.
- Experience prime product and component manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Experience in Project/Program Management
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience as Solution Architect for a major IT program involving multiple teams and/or projects.
- Experience with an integration tool as; MII & DMI & Fiori, Freedom eLog or other Open Source Middleware product.
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP EWM Skills
- Advance level in Kit to Order
- Advance level in Kit to Stock
- Advance level in Cockpit
- Advance level in Labor Management
- At least 5 years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes
- SAP EWM design, configuration, testing, and implementation experience- minimum of two full project lifecycle SAP EWM implementation
- Should be familiar with material handling systems and how to integrate them to SAP WM solutions. Strong warehouse, distribution and transportation Logistics Business Process Knowledge and experience
- Customizing of SAP EWM, Define and execute tests scenarios, Training of key-users and or business users, Application management of the SAP ECC
- Must be familiar with Supply Chain business models, SAP WM and wireless technologies
- Should be familiar with material handling systems and how to integrate them to SAP WM solutions
Skills & Experience Desired:
- BS in Engineering, Business Management, Industrial Engineering or Computer Science.
