Relevant Experience

Technical/Functional Skills Load Runner, JAVA, JMeter, Web services, Dynatrace, Splunk, Tivoli, Perfmon, NMON Cloud technologies (Big data, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Elastic Computing) etc..

Experience Required     

•             10+ years of Performance engineering or related experience

•             Experience with Load, Endurance and Stress testing

•             Experience with Performance Testing Tools LoadRunner and JMeter

•             Strong Experience using LoadRunner Protocols Web – HTTP/HTML, Web Services and True Client

•             Ability to code complex scripts, design test scenarios to model production workloads

•             Strong Knowledge on profiling and analysis tools Dynatrace, Perfmon, NMON, Splunk and Tivoli

•             Ability to monitor JVMs, analyze heap dumps, analyze queries and memory profiling.

•             Ability to monitor and collect result data, analyze, and pinpoint bottlenecks and guide developers and other in fixing performance issues.

•             Highly talented, self-motivated, engineers with a drive to make a difference

•             Strong problem-solving skills are desirable

•             Co-Ordinate with Development Leads/Architects on designing/implementing code optimizations

•             Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities

•             Design Performance Test scripts for applications based on requirements

•             Participate in performance bottleneck analysis and fixes

•             Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities

•             Run and manage performance test campaigns

•             Perform in-depth analysis of performance issues to identify hotspot and opportunities for optimization

•             Provide technical consulting and mentoring to team members on optimization techniques, new algorithm design, implementation, and conformance to architecture standards

•             Good Communication and status reporting with customer

•             Effective coordination with multiple technical and support team

•             Work with the development staff to determine project requirements for test/production environments

•             Report's progress and activity to project leader and/or manager on a continuing basis

•             Commitment to delivering a high-quality work product
