JOB DETAIL

  • Provide development estimates for user stories
  • Translate business requirements into functional and non-function system requirements
  • Analyze end user needs and design, develop and unit test software to satisfy demand
  • Contribute to design and coding standards to ensure consistency across applications
  • Partner with site reliability engineers to ensure successful deployment of solutions
  • Work closely with TS Operations team to monitor production systems
  • Partner closely with business system analyst team to troubleshoot and provide solutions for production issues
  • Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Design, build, maintain, and extend data models within Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform.
  • Analyze requirements, plan and design system tables / components using techniques, such as structured analysis, data modeling and information engineering.
  • Plan and execute appropriate testing (e.g., test plans, test cases, and test scripts) to comprehensively test assigned enhancements to business applications.
  • Review and analyze application performance, to provide enhancement recommendations and process improvements.
  • Provide risk assessment for new functionality and enhancements
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how technology can enhance and improve these processes
  • Proficient communication, planning, problem solving, trouble shooting, and organization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytic / troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, documentation, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience
  • Experience implementing enterprise-level applications for Incentive Compensation Management (Varicent, Xactly, Optymyze, etc.)
  • Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets
  • Proven ability to develop end to end software with a background in computer science or programmable IT
  • Experience working in agile and lean software development
