Job Description:

This is supporting Beacon Health Options (owned by Anthem Inc) CMS Interoperability Project, which will allow them to meet CMS Interoperability requirements. This team is responsible for a provider system. They are currently creating a new repository (Provider directory) to service to CMS API. They are building a unified data management central repository.

They are looking for a strong BSA with FHIR experience to support this project. Needs to have the following experience/skills:
- Data Mapping, Compiling Data
- Strong experience with API Testing
- Strong experience with Testing Data, quarrying data, and conducting SQL Queries

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Healthcare (provider) and EDI experience is a nice to have (not required)

Business Drivers/Customer Impact:

Supporting Beacon Health Options CMS Interoperability Project. Due to CMS Mandate Beacon needs to establish a new data platform to consolidate and normalize all provider, claims, and clinical data. This platform will be used to support our FHIR API provider environment and direct data file feeds to our health plans. Beacon will be leveraging Edifecs as their FHIR API provider given their experience in delivering interoperability at scale, preexisting infrastructure and agreements with Beacon and overall cost of ownership through their flexible pricing model.

This initiative would allow Beacon to securely and quickly provide our health plans clinical, claims and provider data so they can meet the CMS interoperability requirements

Phase 1 of this project will include:
1.Design & create Informatica FHIR extracts (Edifecs & Direct Data Feeds) for: Claims, Clinical CAS, Clinical FlexCare, and Provider.
2. Stand-up Edifecs Platform For Beacon
3. On-board Health Plans to Edifecs Platform
4 Establish Direct Data Feeds to Health Plans (Not Leveraging Edifecs Platform)
