Major Responsibilities:
o Create/Enhance ETL jobs as needed to load external feeds into warehouse tables/data mart tables.
o Modify existing ETL jobs in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
o Develop data extracts from the data warehouse environment using ODI.
o Provide technical support to User Acceptance and Integration testing environments by researching suspected anomalies and periodically refreshing the environments.
o Performance tuning ETL process and user queries.
o Develop the production process to automate the ETL and create documentation to transition the process to the Production team.
o Resource may also be utilized as backfill for permanent staff on other data warehouse activities as the need materializes.
Qualifications: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)
o Overall 8+ yrs experience with Atleast 3 years’ experience on Oracle Data Integrator (ODI, formerly Sunopsis) 11g and 12c
o 3 years’ experience in ETL development and Data Warehousing
o 5 years hands on SQL experience in a multi-terabyte data warehousing environment (Oracle, DB2 on AIX platform and Netezza).
o Experience with data warehouse appliance Netezza is a plus.
o Experience with BigData technologies – Hadoop, Spark, Python, MongoDB is a plus
o Proficiency in understanding relational, star schema and dimensional data models
o Excellent oral and written communication.
o Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
