THEY ABSOLUTELY NEED GLOBAL INVESTMENT BANK EXPERIENCE. Small banks, community banks, even larger banks that only do retail banking arenot the financial institutions they are looking for.  They are looking forglobal enterprise banking only.  A minimum of 3 years banking (has to belike Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, etc….thosetypes of banks, and it has to be within the last 5 years. 

Selenium is a must have

Understanding front and back end programming languages (javaand python and data bricks, they will most likely need all 3)

• Overview of business area or project Test AutomationEngineer will be part of Investment Banking Analytics team that deliversvalue-driven analytics solutions to several key business areas withinInvestment Banking division.

• Overview of department/team Test Automation Engineer willjoin Innovation & Core Engineering discipline within Investment Banking andwill be part of Scrum team of 10 members to deliver application built on cloudbased big data & analytics solutions.

Role provides a great opportunityto implement test automation for big data and analytics-based application.

It also offers opportunity to utilize both automation andmanual testing skillsets to influence Software Development Lifecyclemethodology transition to DevOps.

Great scope to innovate/adapt/build/enhance tools to simplifyQA activities as innovation through automation.

Build, modify, and maintain Test Automation Frameworks.

Completely own automation framework updates and contribute tothe transition to DevOps methodology along with other team members.

Interact with development teams to help implement optimizedand re-usable functional test automation.

Maintain the functional test portion of the ContinuousIntegration pipeline.

Research, identify and implement new test automationtechnologies.

Troubleshoot application issues and report technical findingsto development.

Interact and operate in scrummodel.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in ComputerScience or equivalent experience
8 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance area
3 years of Banking domain knowledge
5 years of experience in Java / Selenium
5 years of experience in developing testautomation
5 years of automation or regression testingexperience
3 years of experience in Big Data &Analytics platform testing - designing a framework for validating largedata sets
3 years of experience in functional testing ofreports with complex data calculations, aggregation rules.
3 years of experience with continuousintegration/continuous deployment and build tools (i.e. JUnit, GIT, Maven,Jenkins or equivalent)
-Experience working with UI test automation isdesirable
-deep knowledge and experience of improving testcoverage, review and filling gaps in existing automation and manual tests
-the ability to diagnose application issues(reviewing applications logs, reviewing server stats, etc.)
-deep understanding of Test-drivendevelopment/behavior-driven development
-experience working in a continuous integrationenvironment
-solid Understanding of Agile developmentlifecycle
-solid understanding of software testingpractices
-excellent verbal, written, and interpersonalcommunication skills
-experience working with cloud services (Azureis preferred)
