Job Description: The role is of a Master engineer on a team within the acquisition's tech organization. This role is a critical role for an acquisitions service that is key to decisioning card applications. This service determines the offer we make to a customer and is a highly critical service in the ecosystem. This engineer will play a key design and architecture role in shaping the direction of this decisioning service for capital one card. The candidate will be leveraging their core coding, engineering and problem-solving skills and work alongside a talented set of engineers to deliver a platform to the cloud. Technical stacks include JavaScript, AWS, Lambdas, Kafka, DevOps and other cutting-edge technologies and patterns. We operate in an agile fashion, collaborate closely with product partners and other tech teams as part of our organization to design & deliver innovative solutions that drive success for our business partners & our customers.

    Skills:-

•       React experience on the front end, 50% back end and 50% front end role. We are building self-authoring tool for rule engines

•       Javascript expertise, React experience

•       Nodejs, comfortable with servlets (Nice to have) and AWS (Aws is not that important)

•       We have stand up in the morning and check in at 9:30 am and at 2 pm again

•       Grooming session, design session

•       Hands down coding role with some leadership from Javascript perspective (As we are lacking that)

•       Postgress and DynamoDB (If they have some exposure, it would be great, but not a MUST) Simple queries

•       They need to have 5 years of experience at least

•       ReactJS – 1 to 2 years of experience

•       Front end is more important, but they will eventually do back-end work
