•  Build applications utilizing a variety of APIs

•  Interface with robot components like cameras and sensors

•  Create new programs that connect multiple digital devices, including robots, external cameras, Wi-Fi-enabled lights, etc.

•  Implement recommendations from EEs, MEs, SWEs, artists, and designers; identify possible pitfalls

Qualifications

•  Outstanding ability to program in Python with an emphasis on clean, efficient code

•  Experience configuring and connecting multiple device SDKs with platforms such as Touch Designer or Processing

•  Experience programming robots in any simulation environment, such as ROS, Unity, PyBullet, etc.

•  Enthusiastic team player, desire to learn on the job and comfort with ambiguity/open-ended prompts

•  Prior creative or artistic project experience such as performances or art installations, or demonstrated experience working in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams

•  Experience with ML models applied to robot learning

•  Experience with body-tracking technologies and algorithms, such as depth cameras, wearables, pose estimation, and motion classification

•  Interest in aesthetics and aesthetic experimentation, passion for storytelling
