Responsibilities:
The Lead Developer Experience Engineer is a self-starting hands-on technology evangelist having the pulse of latest development and devops technologies. We are seeking proven and strong systems, software, and Agile experience to lead a complex program to provide a future looking roadmap for a critical customer.
The Lead Engineer will help provide best-fit architectural solutions for multiple technology stacks; provide technology consultation; assist in defining scope and sizing of work, anchor Proof of Concept developments and then take them to full working model with a larger team. Person will need to collaborate with diverse project members, voice opinions and drive to create a high performing team.
Must Have Skills:
- At least 7 years of experience in software development life cycle activities on Application development and maintenance projects using Java, Spring Boot, Oracle Weblogic, SOA, etc.
- At least 5 years of development experience with exposure to any cloud native technologies of AWS or Azure.
- At least 2 years of experience in designing and implementation of Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution using pipeline-as-code paradigm
- Experience with building mature CI/CD pipelines for a robust and distributed microservices and event-based architectures
- Hands on experience decomposing monolithic to microservices.
- Good experience in writing scripts using Python / Ruby / Shell Script
- At least 2 years of experience of working in Multi-tenant Kubernetes architecture and Cloud Native design patterns
- At least 2 years of experience of anyone monitoring tool such as Dynatrace, Prometheus or equivalent and any one container log management tool such as Splunk, elk or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience of translating customer requirements into system design specification, defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from architectural standpoint
- Experience and desire to work in a Global Delivery Model
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field
- 10+ years of software development experience in IT industry
- Prior experience working in a client facing project / architect role
- Familiarity with new technologies with an ability to translate complex technical problem statements into an effective and compelling story.
