Position: Mainframe Developer
Location: Columbus, OH
Visa status: Any visa will work but NO OPT’s, CPT’s. Passport Number Mandatory
- 8+ years of experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise OCBOL applications running on the mainframe
- 3 years of experience with COBOL and DB2
- Strong technical background in:
- IBM Mainframe z/OS 2.3 Operating system
- COBOL v6.20, SQL
- DB2 z/OS V12 or higher
- Cool: Gen 8.5 – Mainframe version, Host Encyclopedia, QMF
- JCL
- VSAM and QSAM file types
- Syncsort
- CICS, preferred
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC)
- Ability to write technical documentation for existing COBOL programs running on the mainframe
- Writing technical programs specifications for COBOL/DB2 programs
- Strong Analytical skills
