Job Description

JOB TITLE: Wholesale Billing Management Senior IT Project Manager

The Corporate Systems Group (CSG) has an opening for a senior IT Project Manager. This is a very critical role responsible for managing project activities for the programs in Wholesale Dispute Management. This position will lead and oversee continued modifications over time to support Verizons ever changing product and system landscape. This includes initial system implementation of functional and technical requirements as well as regular enhancements needed to address changes resulting from ongoing changes in the wireless and wireline businesses. Act as functional project manager within the program management team. Drive planning, execution, delivery, status updates within the end-to-end IT development cycle for enterprise-wide projects such as system integrations impacting multiple legal reporting entities. Focus comprehensively on plan, build, deliver, run, status and budget tracking responsibility of projects within end-to-end IT development cycle. Utilize a standardized, end-to-end project management approach (including governance methodologies and toolsets) across multi-disciplinary Finance projects to ensure consistency and quality. Support several large-scale, complex projects in line with various customers long-term strategies and objectives and with significant impact on Verizon Finance and IT landscape

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

• Hands on Expert level proficiency/experience in creating and engaging impactful presentations using Microsoft Power Point and/ or Google Slides for C-level executives and stakeholders.
• Understand and create complex concepts/process in a visually appealing and clear manner, including creating data-heavy financial graphics and charts
• Must have attention to detail in proof reading the completed work before showcasing to others
• Should be creative in the designing the flows / processes
• Must work independently or in collaboration with other team members in understanding and translating the content
• Must have expert level hands on experience using Google Suite products
• Must have experience in implementation of projects with Agile Methodologies
• Must have experience in implementation of projects with tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Google Suite

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Strong Executive presentation skills using powerpont
• Excellent Communication and persuasive skills
• Ability to perform individually and in a fast paced Agile/Scrum team set-up
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.

JOB DUTIES:

Focus on the system and application design activity support within the project
• Translation of business requirements into technical requirements and functional end-to-end design and test plans
• Project Management interface between the business, IT, and the other parts of CSG
• Flexible and collaborative work approach to solve complex problems and to develop customer-specific solutions - taking into account multiple internal and external stakeholder groups and different level of stakeholder groups with various and changing demands and requirements and intersections (e.g. IT, Finance, Security, executive-management level etc) Note: It is important to elaborate on the specific needs for this position in order to complete the sourcing efforts in a timely manner
Manage and Deliver projects by coordinating with different stakeholders
Frequently present the Project updates to senior executives including C level executive management
Manage and complete the project in timely manner without missing any deadlines

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science
• Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint certification is must
