Description
- 3 Senior MuleSoft & Amazon Web Services (AWS) Application Developers sought to provide Design, Development, Unit Testing, Integration Testing and Functional and User Acceptance Testing and Production Implementation support, Anypoint Platform Administration, AWS Design & Configuration Management, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment support and Knowledge transfer for MuleSoft Integrations and AWS Assets supporting the Governor's Office of Information Technology.
- The scope of this effort includes the development of:
- An enterprise service for managing state-wide client identity and demographic information, composed of core AWS components: RDS, SQS, Lambda (Python), ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, etc., in collaboration with the OIT Cloud and Database Administration teams
- A collection of Mulesoft API endpoints that expose individual and bulk service requests to the above mentioned AWS service to both internal State consumers and and external partners
- A file-based batch process for consuming identity and demographic data from sources that are unable to interact with the above mentioned Mulesoft API endpoints using a combination of enterprise SFTP tools and AWS components
- A lightweight User Interface using enterprise low-code/no-code tools for consuming the above mentioned AWS service through the Mulesoft API endpoints
- Activities & Deliverables for Senior MuleSoft & AWS Application Developer:
- Technical Design Document capturing MuleSoft and AWS functional and nonfunctional details utilizing OIT Integrations and Cloud design templates; RAML definition for all interfaces
- Developed and Unit Tested MuleSoft and AWS Applications checked into OIT’s code repository and deployed through OIT’s Continuous Integration toolchain into development & test environments & relying on mUnit and unit test frameworks for validation of thus developed artifacts
- Establishing mUnit and unittest framework and associated quality assurance processes to support validations of MuleSoft and AWS assets developed during the course of the project
- Assuring adherence to security, audit compliance and error handling requirements
- Actively participate in Agile sprint ceremonies (sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review / product demo and sprint retrospective)
- Resolution of tasks and defects within the project backlog
- Conduct Design Walkthroughs, Code Reviews and Technical Coaching as warranted
- Document and publish artifacts in OIT Anypoint Exchange instance
- Create and update operational Run Book
- Create and update production cutover plan and execute production cutover activities
- Design and Development of Anypoint Exchange Policies and Configurations
Other Duties as Assigned
It is anticipated that this work will be in duration of 4 months with the possibility of extension. This work is expected to be conducted remotely with a potential of some on premises, OIT HQ at 601 East 18th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80203.
