Our client, a global environmental scient and technology organization is seeking an experience SAP Project Manager to join their team! This is a long term contract opportunity going through 2023, possibly longer. This is a primarily REMOTE role, with some needed onsite work in their King of Prussia location.
The role of SAP Project Manager will be a critical position in the successful roll out of the multi-instance SAP application. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience with SAP upgrades and migrations previously.

The SAP Project Manager is responsible for project management and implementation of Projects across all Divisions of the organzaition, delivered according to the PMO Project Framework.
This is a chargeable role, with an intended balance of 80% time being booked to specific projects across the company. The remaining 20% of time is spent acting as the support for “generalist” project managers across the rest of the company on behalf of the PMO function.
Principal accountabilities
• Accountable for delivery success of the portfolio of projects to time and budget within workstream scope
• Ensuring that the scope and design of each project and the portfolio as a whole is managed with business cases brought forward in a timely manner for approval
• Managing the governance processes to ensure projects are tightly governed throughout their individual lifecycle
• Tracking and reporting progress across the portfolio, taking intervention as required to ensure successful delivery
• Ensuring the delivered solutions are in line with policies and Security requirements, adhering to the Information Security Strategy
• Ensuring each project and project manager develops and maintains the project management deliverables, including the Project Management Plan, Delivery Schedule, Benefits tracking and Service Transition.
• Controlling the day-to-day activities of the portfolio of projects by day to day management of a team of project managers
• Managing cross project dependencies, risks and issues
• Ensure projects include an emphasis on Service Transition to ensure the successful deployment into the IT landscape and handover to BAU support teams
• Engaging with portfolio stakeholders to ensure the successful integration into business operations and related business staff change activities
• Ensuring technical and quality reviews of project deliverables are undertaken
• Ensuring risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, scope changes, actions and decisions are recorded, managed and escalated as appropriate
• Adopting and utilizing the BIS Project delivery framework, including resource management and planning tools
• Ensuring that at all times company policies, standards and Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to
• To carry out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

Qualifications
Experience of managing a large portfolio of projects, project managers and project teams within the Infrastructure and/or Security domains
Experience of managing program financials and realizing benefits to business areas
Experience of implementing multi-divisional, multi-regional projects and programs
Experience of delivering IT infrastructure and/or Security improvement projects
Project / Program Management Qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM or PMI)
Experience of using SharePoint, MS Productivity tools and Daptiv
Service Transition management
Business Change management
