Projects managed by this position will be large projects with varying complexities. These projects typically impact multiple business units and multiple application teams. In order to be successful in this position, the incumbent needs to have an understanding of system flows and interactions between the different systems, or an ability to quickly come up to speed and develop that knowledge in a self-guided manner. They must possess experience in managing projects with Agile methodology and tools. Telecom knowledge is a plus.
• Works as a team member and provides technical leadership and subject matter expertise.
• Regularly leads projects and provides direction to staff members and peers.
• Evaluates and develops solutions to fulfill business requirements and provides rough order of magnitude assessments.
• Manages core team meetings across IT application teams and/or business teams.
• Maintains and updates Clarity and JIRA systems with project status and documentation.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree or 6 - 10 years work experience
• Excellent technical and/or analytical skills.
• Agile and JIRA experience.
• PC literacy, including desktop application competency (e.g. Microsoft Office, Project, Chrome, etc.).
• Working knowledge of project management concepts.
• Excellent business knowledge and interpersonal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of information systems concepts.
• In-depth knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards and procedure
