Must have experienced SQL Developer to lead in the development of SQL databases for a server and AWS – facing C /C# applications.

SQL Developer Responsibilities:

?        Provide MS SQL Server database design and T/SQL development for a server and AWS – facing C /C# application.

?        Writing data integration scripts.

?        Setting and running analytical queries, retrieving subsets of information within a database for analytics applications and transaction processing,

?        Adding, updating, and deleting rows and columns of data in a database

?        Analyze and correct issues, providing end-to-end problem resolution.

?        Refine and automate regular processes, track issues and document changes.

?        Evaluate business data and recommend appropriate analytic approaches/strategies to achieve stated objectives.

?        Perform analyses to drive business decisions and optimize expense/efforts for database enhancements and support.

?        Assist in testing efforts for database use.

?        Create regular reporting summarizing key metrics and trends to key team members and Management.

?        Effectively prioritize and manage concurrent projects, demonstrate initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision.

?        Coordinate with other teams to update and integrate processes as necessary.

?        Apply data modeling techniques to ensure integration and performance expectations are met as well as allow for future flexibility to meet changing business needs.

SQL Developer Requirements:

?        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent MIS field.

?        5 years direct experience as a SQL Developer.

?        Minimum 2 years of SQL development experience within software development teams delivering C /C# applications.

?        Proven T-SQL skills.

?        Experience integrating data with AWS environment is required.

?        Experienced with Integrating an Amazon RDS for SQL Server DB Instance with Amazon S3

?        Demonstrated knowledge of large, relational databases and data structures.

?        Experience with different data sources and formats and identifying relationship parent-child is important.

?        Able to work as a team player with Application Developers, Data base administrators and operational personnel.

?        Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
