JOB DETAIL

 

The User Experience Designer defines the visual design, information architecture and interaction design for the company’s Vendor Platform.  They are responsible for creating design deliverables such as creative mockups, wireframes, site maps, journey maps, design & UI specifications, working prototypes and other artifacts to describe the intended user experience.  The UX Designer also works with Front End Developers, IT Partners, Product Owners and Project Managers to intelligently interpret business strategy to develop supporting materials and insure that requirements clearly define the user experience and interaction functionality.

 

Accountability Includes:

  • Provide interactive prototypes, design specifications, and annotated wireframes that provide interaction, customer flow, as well as look and feel.
  • Determine Scenarios and Use Cases that cover customer behavior and expectations as well edge case conditions.
  • Strong skills in Information Architecture for internal application design
  • Participate in user research, usability testing, and review of analytics to analyze customer behavior. 
  • Analyze customer data, including usability research findings, customer feedback and site metrics to better understand user audience and create better designs.
  • Capable of managing large and small scale UX projects that meet business needs, timelines, scope and deliverables.
  • Communicate and Defend user centered design principles to maintain a quality design solution in a mature, cooperative and productive manner.
  • Organize and present design recommendations to team and departments to help educate and inform staff of User Experience best practices, and standards.
  • Understands Agile Development by working in two week sprints where they participate in the strategic prioritization of core features in product development.
  • Practices Lean UX Design by utilizing these methods: Design Studio facilitation, Hypothesis articulation and validation, Lean Documentation and Rapid prototyping.
