As part of the Business Intelligence team, we have an excellent opportunity for a Developer who has experience in software development using Datastage and/or scripting (Unix preferable) and Operating Systems (LINUX/Windows), with constructing and debugging SQL queries. The ETL Developer plays a key role in developing and supporting new and existing BI solutions for our users. The ETL Developer’s primary contribution to the team involves Develop Datastage Jobs, Perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing with Different team and UAT with Users that assist in transforming data into a meaningful form for data warehouse/data marts and reporting.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Design, develop, maintain, test and debug Datastage Jobs 
•    Tests and debugs software; assists in testing projects with other analyst/programmers
•    Prepares documentation for assigned projects and completes the paperwork necessary to release the project
•    Follows ETL pre-established standards and guidelines as applicable to design and development
•    Participate in active discussions with team members and users to understand business requirements
•    Work closely with IT, Architecture, Business Analysts and Report Developers to achieve business objectives
•    Design, develop, implement, and support new and existing framework components to perform data integration from variety of data sources to the Data warehouse.
•    Understand and Implement best practice solutions per development standards
•    Develop technology documentation to support production deployments as well as ongoing maintenance of reporting and data solutions 
•    Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve data quality and performance issues

Required Qualifications:
•    Knowledge of Datastage ETL & ELT design and development methodologies.
•    Knowledge of SQL and Unix
•    Understanding of BI/DW architecture and concepts.
•    Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
•    Ability to work with others to resolve problems, handle requests or situations.
•    Ability to transform business requirements into a technical solution.
Required Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology or business-related field, or equivalent experience 1-2 years of relevant Datastage 11.7, OBIEE, ETL Testing experience
