Our client, a premier Federal Healthcare organization, has an urgent need for a Java Developer, with strong Spring Framework and JDK knowledge, to support a WebSphere to Tomcat migration. The result is agility and speed to market of new health care plans that improve outcomes and reduce costs. You can be a part of it!! Both of these positions are well-compensated and above the market wage.

This position is a 12 month PLUS contract position and is 100% remote due to COVID (will be returning to the Wash DC office in late 2021/early 2022).

Notes:

• Supporting Tomcat migration. Currently running on AIX, moving to Linux server and using WebSphere to help convert to Tomcat and Linux
• Seeking a Java Developer with solid Spring Framework, along with AIX, Linux, JDK version 11, and Tomcat = REQUIRED TECH STACK
• Must have strong Java Development/programming expertise with SPRING framework - must have
• Understanding of Tomcat / Linux / JDK 11 is required
• Must have: AIX, Linux, Java Development, Spring Framework, Tomcat, JDK 11
• WebSphere = Big Big plus
• IBM MQ = plus
• Angular is a plus
• Jenkins CI/CD = user experience/basic knowledge is a plus
• Kafka – plus

Must haves:
1. 6+ years of Java Software development experience, along with deep knowledge of Spring framework
