EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Consultant must:

Have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or any other equivalent degree with a minimum of seven (7) years of programming experience. 

Have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in developing programs using Microsoft .NET and related technologies.

Be proficient in writing web applications using VB.NET, ASP.NET, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery.

Have experience in consuming and creating Web Services using .NET including WCF Services.

Be an expert in writing efficient SQL queries and using stored procedures in MS SQL Server.

Have the ability to understand how .NET UI communicates to the business and data layers that are part of a Mainframe System utilizing DB2.

Be an expert in deriving and understanding business rules by reviewing existing programming.

Have good communication, documentation and user requirement gathering skills.

Be proficient in analyzing, debugging and testing programs.

Be a team player who can work with other contractors and permanent employees under a complex team structure.

Be proficient in gathering user requirements and creating Technical Specifications Document, Functional Specifications Document, Business Layer Document, User Interface Layer Document, etc.
