Job Description
Senior Developer - System Engineering
As a Senior Developer Consultant, you will support Fleet applications and infrastructure. Fleet Operations are impacted by COVID 19 due to home garaging etc. You will support Fleet with necessary Fleet Analytics and updates in Fleet applications to support operational model changes like home garaging, DOT license validation etc. The job will include leading application development work, including but not limited to mobile application development with ionic framework, angular, JAVA and production support. Tasks will span the entire development life cycle to include planning, requirement collection, design, coding, testing, implementation and production support. Strong technical background is required. Strong analytical skills to solve and develop solutions to meet business requirements required. Strong communication skills both written and verbal required. General business knowledge and understanding of Fleet fundamentals is preferred. Work will be performed with technical guidance from Manager. You will collaborate with business analysts, project managers, other developers, DBAs, and QA personnel to define, design, and implement solutions to move Verizon forward.
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 6-10 years work experience in technology field including mobile application development with ionic framework, angular, JAVA etc.
• Experience effectively leading technical development, integration, and coordination with other teams
• Experience with Anaytics Solutions, building Data Repository, ETL & BI tools, AI/ML Modelling.
• Complete understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile and/or Waterfall
• Good understanding of key design principles for data architecture, design and development
• Organizational ability, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task are required.
