Description Ensures database performance, resolves problems, and ensure cost effectiveness. Coordinates with other IS departments to ensure implementation and monitoring of databases. May manage Database migration projects. 5 to 7 years of MS SQLServer database administration experience. Knowledge of relevant tools, such as SSIS, SSAS, Replication, etc.
JOB TITLE: SQLServer Database Administrator
JOB DUTIES: Candidate must posses the skills to be able to work as part of a larger team to support Enterprise level SQLServer databases. This includes working with Internal Application teams and other Database Administrators to ensure the ongoing health and support outage recovery situations. Candidate must be able to support the daily functions as well as be available during off shift times to support change activities and recovery exercises. Candidate must possess good communication skills and be able to interact with in-scope application teams and coordinate complex efforts. Must be self managed while working as part of a larger group and program. Candidate will work closely with the hiring Manager and existing DBAs to maintain program progress.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:  MS SQLServer database experience (5+ yrs)  Replication EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:  MS SQLServer Database Certification or working experience a must  working knowledge of AWS databases is desired
