Data Analyst doesn’t necessarily need to know Excel from an analysis perspective but rather know how to take data, organize it in a certain format, apply conditional formatting, know vlookups, basic formulas, how to sort, use the “find & replace” function, etc.
Data Analyst will also be working in JIRA which is our ticketing system.
Data Analyst will be organizing data for imports, managing tickets in our ticketing system (JIRA) by pulling reports, organizing data on a template and importing into another system, and review and fix any errors identified on a data validation report.
Data Analyst will reviewing data from our supplier partners by comparing 2 excel docs. We have a large back log so this person will help us get back on track.
Opportunity to do some additional work with outreach to our supplier partners- required strong communication skills
Requirement:
2 years of Data analysis experience (experience looking at graphs, identifying trends, reporting)
MS Excel experience
Experience with Jira
Experience creating reports and identifying trends and gaps
Experience cross referencing differences between systems
Distribution/Suppler industry experience or knowledge is a plus (not required)
Data Science background/degree is a plus (not required)
