• 6 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS ETL) 2018 - 2008
• 5 years experience with Stored Procedures, Data Modeling, Data Design and extensive experience with Data Integration
Job Requirements
• Must be able to work with team and understand business mappings, rules and logic natively
• Work with business requirements analysts to identify and solve business problems
• Map source system data to data warehouse models
• Develop and test extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes
• Define and capture metadata and rules associated with ETL processes
• Adapt ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements
• Identify conflicting views or issues, and strive to identify the best solutions, documenting issues
• Demonstrate extensive system/application knowledge; provide system/application support as needed
• Proficient with understanding business requirements and in some cases act as a BA
• Promote and demonstrate effective teamwork in an Agile team setting
• Must be results-oriented and able to manage time appropriately in order to meet assigned goals
• Ability to analyze and estimate system requirements, develop alternatives, and implement solutions
• Must have an solid understanding of computer systems including hardware, operating systems, programming languages
• Must have an solid understanding of business processes and system interdependencies
• Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
• Implement stored procedures and effectively query a database
• Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution
• Provide support and fix issues in the packages
• Writes advanced SQL including some query tuning
• Deep understanding of OLAP and OLTP
• Candidate must demonstrate sounds principles with software architecture, design, implementation and support for RASP (Reliable, Available, Secure and highly Performing) solutions
• Candidate must have deep skills in multiple areas including systems architecture and design, data development, and problem solving
• Candidate must demonstrate secure coding practices
• Candidate must demonstrate the ability to interpret requirements into design implementation and code effectively
• Education - Bachelor (BS) or Master (MS) degree in Engineering or Computer Science required
