Good knowledge & understanding in SQL DB Backup and Recovery strategies.
Designing, Implementing & troubleshooting high availability solutions for SQL Clustering, Database Mirroring, Disaster recovery capability through Log shipping SQL Replication.
Hands on experience in SQL ALWAYSON
PowerShell Scripting knowledge is an added advantage
Troubleshooting instance and performance issues.
Finding root blocker
Long & slow-running query (Identifying, analyzing, solution) Index analysis (Analyzing and suggesting new indexes).
Deadlock troubleshooting CPU, Memory related performance issues.
Database Estimation/Sizing.
Possess excellent knowledge on SQL Backup and Recovery .
Capability to Plan and implement Disaster recovery processes and test it out periodically.
Daily health check of Databases and Periodic Database Health
Dashboards creation and submission to the customer IT Team
Certified Microsoft Database Administrator
Working knowledge of any AWS RDS ( At least 2 years of experience)
