You will work in a fast-paced environment on anonlineplatform that serves 300 sites globally.
You’ll work alongside highly experienced andtalenteddesigners & developers to analyze, architect, & build solutionsbasedon business needs.
You’ll work on multiple projects simultaneouslyandprioritize workload effectively under tight deadlines. You have goodwritten,verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail,and goodpresentation skills.
You’llworkremotely with experienced and talented people all over the world. Many ofthe people you collaborate with will be in a different time zone fromyou, andyou are someone who is excited by the prospect of learning newcultures as wellas sharing your own. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Support Payment integrationswith third party payment providers
? Troubleshootexisting payment providerintegrations
? Buildhighly scalable APIs to support great userexperiences with the highest codequality & best-in-class performance
? Workclosely with product managers to definecutting-edge technical solutions &partner with global engineers tocontribute what you build into our globaltechnology products
? Collaboratewith architects, engineers &DevOps to implement workflows, automatedtesting, and anything else it takes toget quality code to production.
? Improveengineering standards, tooling, andprocesses.
? Troubleshoot& problem solve when urgenttechnical solutions are needed
? Codereview & mentor junior engineers
Who You Are
? You have 10 years in ecommerceweb platform development, with at least5 years working with payment providerinterfaces.
? You have 5 years experience withPerl, plus experience with Java,NodeJS, GIT, Jenkins, AWS, and RESTful APIs.
? You have strong experienceinterfacing with third-party vendor APIs,ideally payment gateway APIs
? Youhave strong database experience supportingcomplex applications
? Youunderstand PCI compliance and OWASP securityprinciples
? Youare passionate about writing clean, modern,maintainable, &highly-performant code, with a desire to sweat the smallstuff
? Youunderstand architectural patterns of large,high-scale web applications, such aswell-designed APIs, high volume datapipelines, and efficient algorithms.
? Youhave the pro-active ability to troubleshootand solve problems
? Youhave a positive, collaborative, andsolution-oriented approach
? Youare comfortable working in an Agile Scrum teamand using Jira
? Youhave strong communication skills withexcellent interpersonal effectiveness, inone-on-one interactions andpresenting to a room
? Youhave self-?awareness and adesire tocontinually improve
? Youare independent, dedicated, and able todeliver production-ready code withminimal guidance.
Skills Preferred
? Experiencewith design patterns, multithreading,and unit testing
? Exposureto common development tools (Gradle,Maven, Spring, JUnit, Git, Bitbucket, etc)
? Experiencedeveloping in Unit Testing and itsvarious methodologies (BDD, TDD, etc)
? Experiencewith 3rd party tools and services:provisioning tools (Jenkins, Docker),Messaging frameworks (SQS, MQ, etc) andAWS tools (EC2, S3, etc)
? Expertisewith REST and API patterns,Authentication patterns (JWT, OAuth2), API contracts(Swagger/OpenAPIv3, SOAP,etc)
? Experiencewith projects at enterprise scale
? Familiaritywith Database technologies includingOracle and NoSQL (Mongo, Dynamo, etc)
? Webdevelopment technologies including HTML,CSS, Javascript
? Strongverbal, written, and presentation skillswith all levels of staff and leadership
