Position: Network Engineer

Location: New York, NYC (remote to start)

Duration:12 month contract.

Visa: Any (with genuine visa copy and dl copy) No OPT AND CPT

Requirements and skills

Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT related field.

Minimum 7-9 years' of CISCO Network Engineer experience.

Minimum 7-9 Years of hands on technical experience working in a CISCO environment including CISCO Routers/Switches and Palo Alto Firewalls

Extensive Expert Experience with TCP/IP, OSPF, RIP, ARP, BGP, VLAN’s, COE, EIGRP, and GRE Tunnels is mandatory.

Experience reading IT/Security drawing packages, requirements matrix, scope of work and managing the successful implementation satisfying requirements.

Network certifications including CCNA, CCNP and CCIE are a plus.

Excellent verbal, communication and writing skills is required.

Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and strong Visio skills.

Strong security awareness and focus; knowledge of security policies, principles & D/R

Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle critical situations in a 24x7 environment.

A solid foundation in information technology, including the principles and practices of systems analysis, design, development, administration, maintenance, integration and the functions of an IT Department.

Ability to make decisions and provide solutions by inquiring, listening and evaluating information.
