Position: Android/Java Developer
Location: Cincinnati, OH (Remote now, but must be willing to relocate)
Duration: 6 +months
Visa: No H1B/CPT
MOI: phone then Skype
YOE:- 6 years’ experience
Minimum Requirements:
Front End:
- Angular w/ typescript or extensive JavaScript
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React, AngularJS, Angular 2+, Backbone.js, or similar)
- Jasmine and Karma unit testing
- Making use of Cascading Style Sheets CSS3 features & CSS frameworks to implement responsive web design;
- CSS preprocessors such as SASS;
- Ability to create reusable web components.
- Knowledge of design techniques for developing websites with good performance (i.e. lazy loading, use of Spites, etc.);
- Knowledge of expanded HTML5 semantics and popular HTML5 APIs (e.g. audio, video, SVG)
Back End:
- Experience and knowledge of RESTful APIs or other Web Services;
- Java 9
- Spring MVC frameworks
- Latest Spring Boot
- Junit Testing
- Selenium QAA based on gherkin ACs
Nice to have
- Experience with JavaScript Frameworks – Development experience;
- Experience mentoring junior staff and defining coding standards and best practices;
- Hands-on experience with multiple JavaScript libraries and frameworks (Angular);
- Hands-on experience with Responsive Web Design and Web Accessibility;
- Experience working with large branded websites, content management systems, E-commerce platforms, and backend frameworks (Java, .NET) is a plus;
- Experience within a large technical organization a plus;
- Familiarity with Agile concepts in an enterprise setting is a plus;
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems concepts and architecture a plus.
