Design, develop and deliver ETL solutions using any ETL tool (IBM Data Stage preferred), Oracle, SQL Server and Data Warehouse platforms like Netezza
Should have Extensive expertise in the areas of ETL - Transformation, Lookup, Unstructured data, Flat file processing, ODBC and database Connectors, Aggregators, Remove duplicates etc
Should have very good knowledge in debugging code components and performance tuning
Strong understanding on Data Warehousing, Data Model, Data Validation and Data Mapping
Should be very strong in SQL and must have experience of SQL performance tuning, analyzing existing SQL scripts
Should be strong in shell scripts and commands
Good communication skills - both oral and written
Should have:
Experience working in all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design and code development and testing.
Experience is promoting code to higher environments and release management.
Engage and develop relationships with key partners and stakeholders to clearly understand the specific business &/or technology challenges, initiatives, and questions to be answered
Good to have:
Nice to have experience in development of stored procedures
Nice to have experience in any cloud-based technologies.
