Title: Node JS Developer
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duties:
Roles/Responsibilities
- collaborating with front-end application developers, designing back-end components, and integrating data storage and protection solutions
- Experience in developing web applications using NodeJS, NodeJS threads, response, API Development, Micro services
- working with callback-based asynchronous code and promise-based async/await syntax
- Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
- Experience in developing Restful based web-services and authentication API
- Good knowledge on SDLC and Software Development Methodologies Should be comfortable in working with Azure/Blue mix based platforms
- Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures
- Experience in writing PLSQL and good knowledge on Oracle DB2 Mongo DB databases
- Secondary optional Experience in building Jenkins pipeline for CI and CD Good understanding on DevOps methodologies like Containerization Configuration management Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
• Experience in writing scripts using Shell Scripts or Python Good knowledge in Chef or Puppet Configuration management tools is plus Good knowledge on cloud services like Azure or IBM Cloud and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years’ Experience in developing and supporting Core NodeJS and related applications
- Hands on Angular 6 or latest version with UI design and typescript
- Hands on with NodeJS, API, API authentication, Security, OAuth, NodeJS threads, response, API Development
Java –
Java/J2EE Fundamentals - OOPs, Access Specifiers, Operators, Loops, Exceptions, Constructors, Enumerations
Frameworks - working experience in one or more frameworks in each of the following categories
- Endpoint – Spring MVC, Struts, Spring Boot
- Core business logic - JTA, Spring Transaction management
- Data processing - Spring batch, Spring boot, JPA, Hibernate, Spring data
- Database - Oracle, MySQL
