?         Provenhands-on Java application development experience, with a good knowledge of itsecosystems.

?         MicrosRetail Xstore POS implementation/development experience (Must).

?         Experienceworking in enterprise development team environment, familiar with Eclipse,configuration management, and defect tracking tools.

?         SolidSQL development skills

?         Excellentinterpersonal & communication skills. Able to effectively conveycomplicated technical information to diverse audiences.

?         Excellentanalytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to propose and evaluatetechnical solution alternatives, assessing the pros and cons of each approach.

?         Extensiveknowledge of retail POS processes, including customer-facing (sales &returns management, promotions & pricing, loyalty, etc.) and back-office(cash management, opening & closing, TLOG processing).

?         Mustbe a self-starter that is results-driven.

?         Bachelor'sdegree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.

PRINCIPALDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

?         Leadthe design and development of enterprise-wide vendor and proprietary solutionspredominantly in the Oracle Xstore spectrum (Xstore, Xcenter, Relate, Xpay andXsettlement) and AJB Software (FiPay and RTS).

?         Hands-onJava development in Micros Retail’s Xstore extension layer for the timelyresolution of production bugs and capital enhancement requests.

?         Writewell-designed, testable, and efficient code.

?         Contributeto all phases of the development lifecycle and prepare releases of softwarecomponents.

?         Leaddiscussions with internal business partners to identify needs and translatebusiness requirements into detail functional specifications and technicalsolutions.

?         Collaboratewith the business and technical organizations to guide the design andimplementation of the new store systems solutions.

?         Definingprocess and methodologies for solution architecture and implementation

?         Coachingand mentoring IT resources to ensure effective and sustainable solutions.

?         Understandthe business priorities and opportunities to drive business growth.
