Supply Chain Business Analyst is responsible for the high-level configuration, design and integration of 3rd Party Planning systems with business processes and ERP systems. This role will require close partnership with business users, project managers, and technical resources in defining new processes, generating detailed technical requirements, defining acceptance criteria, and leading testing activity. This role requires the ability to quickly assess and come up to speed on new systems as new integrations and process changes are common in this space.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Design and Testing
Documents requirement specifications for software developers/programmers including business process logic, alternative process flows and testing criteria steps
Partners with development and user teams to resolve questions and issues during configuration and development cycles
Write test scenarios, perform system testing and lead user acceptance testing cycles
Executes implementation tasks and ensures successful go-live

Gathering Requirements and Analysis
Analyzes current and future state business processes
Produce deliverables including business process flows; use cases; and storyboards
Facilitates process walkthroughs and administrative meetings
Ensures compliance with SOX where applicable

System and User Support
Provides day-to-day application support to business users
Troubleshoots production problems and works to fix issues
Understands technology and systems infrastructure
Assists with training users on system processes and changes
Performs other duties as assigned that support overall objective of the position

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Required:
Bachelor 's degree in Computer Science/Software Design, Computer Information Systems or equivalent
Experience with SQL, SQL Server Management Studio and Application Server Configuration
Experience with ERP, manufacturing, and supply chain ordering processes
Experience writing technical specifications and partnering with development teams
Experience integrating data across disparate systems
Skilled team player, i.e.; flexible, collegial, and enthusiastic
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to effectively communicate with non-technical audience
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Preferred:
Experience with Logility Planning Tools in a retail or similar organization
Experience with Demand and Supply Planning business processes
Experience supporting MRP and Logistics systems
Experience with Customer Order planning and prioritization tools
Experience working within Trade Compliance rules and practices such as NAFTA/USMCA
Able to understand basic programming logic and data flows
Experience with testing software in direct collaboration with users
Other software and systems experience (Infor XA, MAPICS, AX 2012, D365, Trade Automation)
Solid understanding of MS Azure integration patterns
