Responsible for the analysis of and development for various services tier systems, using C# in an object oriented Services Oriented Architecture environment. The service tier systems will include messaging, .Net remoting, ASP.Net and WCF web services development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- • Experience developing world class, Web applications
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Create technical design specifications and documentation
• Assist with defining development work plans
• Design, develop, & deploy application components
• Communicate development status and escalate issues to management
• Execute processes to ensure application integrity and availability
• May research alternative development methodologies and make recommendations for team improvement
Qualifications (demonstrated competence):
- 7-12 years’ experience in software design and development with strong fundamental knowledge of the SDLC
• Participates in defining and guidance of development coding standards
• Excellent communication (oral & written) and organizational skills, especially in regards to code analysis
• Strong understanding of .NET, C#, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, CSS and HTML5
• Experience with high traffic, high volume web applications in a web farm a strong plus
• Knowledge of web services and SOAP
• Strong knowledge of design patterns
• Ability and desire to write object oriented, efficient and maintainable code
• Ability and desire to write solid unit test cases
