Job Description –
The Technical Scrum Master will effectively and efficiently manage the development sprints from planning to execution to review in an Agile development environment. He/She will facilitate and run daily scrums, iteration planning, sprint review, manage the product backlog, collaborate on requirement documentation, manage support tickets and unblock barriers to keep the team moving.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong leadership abilities
- Guides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimates
- Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at a high performance
- Work with the team leads to resolve people problems and project roadblocks
- Able to do post mortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity
- Leads team effort in relentless improvement, define and implement improvement stories to increase the velocity and quality of the program
- Ensures the development teams are practicing the core Agile values, practices, and principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, visibility, self-organization, and proper documentation of stories and tasks
- Proactively identify and eliminate impediments and facilitate flow
- Assesses the Scrum maturity of the team and coaches the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related field required
- Project Management Certification (PMP), Scrum Master Certification (CSM) preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Technical Scrum Master
- Prior experience in software development as an Analyst, Tester, Developer, Or Project Manager
- Strong technical proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Client Server Technologies such as .NET/C#, Angular, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of modern Agile development techniques such as DevOps, test-driven development, and test automation
- Deep understanding of SDLC, Project Management, and Software Delivery
- Strong command of Scrum framework and Agile values and principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical
- Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and conflict resolution.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and a proven ability to work and lead in a team-based environment
- The position will be remote until the end of 2021, onsite presence will be required starting 2022 in Fort Lauderdale, FL
