- 8+ years of experience in the IT industry and experience in Data Engineering.
- Proficiency in Data warehousing tool like Teradata and informatica.
- Should have worked on Big data Environments – Hadoop, Pig, Hive, MR, Spark, BigQuery
- Should have strong SQL programming skills.
- Expert in design/implementation for reliability, availability, scalability and performance.
- Knowledge of programming language like Java, python and Unix scripting is plus.
- Proficiency in Scheduling Tools like UC4, Control-M and Tivoli (TWS) is must.
- Expert in software engineering tools and best practices
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working experience in an Agile methodology is highly preferred.
- Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools is a plus.
