UST has been partnering with one of the leading US Telecom Client in delivering end-to-end Digital Transformation projects through Software Engineering including API Center of Excellence Program seeks to modernize the Digital ecosystem through application and environment automation that adheres to industry best practices. We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Java developer with hands on skills in Java, XML File Parsing, Spring Boot Microservices. Also, the candidate should have working knowledge on Cassandra, Redis, Rabbit MQ and Pivotal Cloud Foundry. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a tool that can automatically migrate existing custom monolithic applications to microservices using Java and Spring Boot. TIBCO BWCE knowledge is a nice to have.

  Responsibilities/Requirements: 
·      Understand functionality, implementation and integration details of current monolithic applications.
·      Perform benefit analysis of possible solutions to transform existing monolithic applications to microservices.
·      Architect and design the automation tool for migration that will incorporate best design practices while transforming the code base from Tibco to Java.
·      Implement the migration tool adhering to the best practices in coding.
·      Perform validation tests and troubleshoot to ensure existing functionality remains unchanged, integration with existing systems are not affected and newly developed microservices have higher performance, security and fault tolerance than the existing monolithic applications.
·      Collaborate with project stakeholders, provide technical mentoring to the team and conduct regular code reviews.
·      Working experience in an Agile and DevOps environment.
·      Good written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Skills
Primary- 10+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
Secondary - 6+ Years of experience in  Cassandra, Redis, RabbitMQ
Good to Have -  GitLab/GitHub, DevOps, PCF
 
Minimum Qualifications: 
Graduate/ B Tech with 12 + years of extensive experience in J2EE technologies and Microservices Architecture.
