In addition to the other requirements the interviewer has a heavy focus on Kafka. The team is looking for candidates who do not just have experience with Kafka but who have worked on advanced features of Kafka like streams, joins, etc. and be able to properly explain use-cases of Kafka from past projects. Contract Description We are looking for a Java Full Stack Developer Contractor with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. Design and build REST web services using Java at internet scale Utilize SpringBoot and MVC framework Implement industrial-grade APIs on gateway products like Apigee. Performance tuning of high-volume applications Java, AWS, AWS Serverless, Docker, Hibernate Qualifications Strong Java development skills with experience in Java 8 and 11 Cloud native streaming (DynamoDB, Kinesis streams Spring Boot 2.0 and Spring integration hands-on experience Kafka (Kafka data transformations - KStreams, KTable, GlobalKTable) REST API experience
