● Writing clean and highly performant code leveraging test driven development

● Coach the development team in best practices for agile ceremonies such as backlog

grooming, sprint demo, retrospective

● Lead design discussions with team members and external stakeholders

● Learn and work with various languages and platforms as needed

● Keep abreast of technologies and paradigms and recognize when they can benefit the

business and the software team

● Work with minimal direction and complete tasks in a timely manner

● Coach the team members on best design/coding and software delivery practices

● Work with scrum master to handle and resolve dependencies, roadblocks and issues

● Work with enterprise architects and create technical documentation and technical

plan/backlog for achieving long term architectural objectives

Qualifications:

● Five or more years of experience in software development using Java or other object

oriented programming languages

● Experience working in agile software development methodology

● Experience in delivering software solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure

● Experience building scalable software in a service-oriented architecture

● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

● Strong written and oral communication skills

● Understanding of distributed software systems, asynchronous messaging, and

SOAP/RESTful services

● Experience using open source frameworks such as Spring Boot, Kafka, etc
