- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field
- Minimum 4-6 years progressive experience working with MySQL (4.x and 5.x) and Microsoft SQL server in versions 2014 or higher
- Working knowledge with transactional data modeling and development of OLTP databases.
- Significant experience in SSIS and SSRS.
- Development experience and working understanding of software as a service.
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques, including understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Ability to write and understand complex SQL Server programmable objects such as stored procedures, UDFs, and triggers.
- Working understanding of SQL Server transactions, locking, and isolation levels.
- Healthcare industry experience desirable.
Essential Responsibilities
- Interface with internal teams to understand requirements for data capture and processing.
- Propose, design, and build database packages, processes and data structures observing best practices for performance, data integrity, and security.
- Ability to understand and foresee challenges and tasks necessary to move from single to multi-tenancy systems.
- Determine best solutions to meet corporate data management needs, including batch data exports and other data services.
- Support enterprise-wide data initiatives. Grasp the strategic significance of activities performed and is motivated by accomplishing these objectives.
