We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to help build features, products and APIs to meet the needs of our fintech customers. We need developers with experience working with Python, blockchain development and infrastructure management. The right candidates will have experience working with AWS, API design and SDK development. This role will likely be 80% Backend and 20% supporting Frontend.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop reliable APIs to address market needs.
- Develop and deploy web applications per Product Requirements and Design Specifications.
- Create, improve and maintain backend processes per Product Requirements.
- Work in conjunction with the Engineering, Design and Product Teams to build the products and features in a timely manner.
- Create code in a clean and easy to understand method.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation using defined escalation procedures.
- Document best practices and help to create a knowledge base.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 4 years experience in backend development.
- Experience developing in Python.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure, including event-driven microservices.
- At least 2 years of front end development experience.
Our Tech Stack: Python, AWS, MySQL, Jenkins, Docker, Git, React, Django. We operate in sprints in an agile environment. (If you are familiar with these you are encouraged to apply.)
Preferred
- Experience with the Django framework
- Experience with the React framework
- Understanding of banking or money movement processes.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering (or equivalent experience)
