Overview

EDDS is responsible for building a design system platform that spans both CVS Health and Aetna business units, as well as white label and joint venture initiatives. This is a design and engineering ecosystem incorporating Web Components, iOS Native, and Android Native platforms, striving for an agnostic approach to accommodate multiple frameworks. A design token architecture is used to manage the presentation layer including A11y, behaviors, and multiple brands and themes.

Each business unit and entity (CVS, Aetna, etc.) has a sub-design system to manage larger custom components and patterns based on the core Atomic components. These sub design systems contain their own UI Kit, documentation site, and code repositories and are collectively referred to as the Community Platform.

Multi-Platform QA Engineer

• Work on Web Components, iOS Native, Android Native, and Documentation Site. Testing on desktop (Chrome, Safari, Firefox), Android (Chrome), Apple iPhone devices (Safari, Chrome), Samsung Web Browser.
• The bulk of what they’re supporting is on their component platform – web, iOS and Android.
• Looking for multi-platform “generalist”  working on a lot of different desktop and native platforms. In addition to that, their team is turning componentry – delivering components that are meeting current production standards but also part of adaption and migration strategy  
• Will be supporting their developers and engineers – 6 total
• Healthcare background is ideal
• Critical thinker, design level thinking, user centric thinking
