they now have 2 urgent needs as both of the current PMs on the project are struggling for either not having true SAFe experience or not having the voice to speak up when things veer off the roadmap they developed.
- SAFe/Scaled Agile is a hard requirement – lack of experience is why backfills are open
- someone who doesn't understand product management in a SAFe/Scaled Agile environment isn't going to know how to succeed or know the boundaries
- current product managers are going straight to the team, but typically there's a workflow and escalation point - they aren't raising up escalations/issues to the team, aren't saying hey I built this roadmap we need to stick to this roadmap - instead team is veering off and there's lack of accountability and calling people out
- AI highly preferred (exposure, experience, but the attitude and aptitude to quickly learn new things and adapt is key!)
- Selling points for role(s) directly from the team and manager:
- Amazing opportunity to learn - not starting from the ground up, but coming in right at the point where they can make a difference
- Enterprise wide product they're building - not just a portion of the company is using IA, but this individual will have the ability to influence the way a Fortune 4 company uses what they build - ability to influence, and see the results in a Pharmacy, when a CVS claim is made, etc
- Evaluating new / modern technologies on a regular basis - yes they picked an IBM product , but maybe they'll scrap it and go to the latest and greatest when new things get released or diversify their product portfolio. Wants to be cutting edge at everything they do. This person can also help influence that and learn new technologies!
