- Fast learner capable to cope with new tool stacks
- Proficient in a programming language (Java or Python preferred and open to new ones)
- Experinced with GitLab, Runners, pipelines and group organizations
- Familiar with at least one configuration language (Chef or Ansible preferred)
- knowledgeable in Terraform
- Well versed in one APM (Instana preferred)
- Experienced with Docker and Kubernetes and how to deliver software using such technologies
- Able to implement dashboards, objects and alerts in Splunk/ELK and Prometheus/Grafana as code
- Familiar with deployment orchestration tools like Octopus, Harness or Spinnaker
- Familiar with VMWare vCenter and surrounding technologies
- Familiar with SQL database fundamentals
- Experience with event streaming technologies (Kafka preferred)
DEVOPS ENGINEER III RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate and implement technologies that improve efficiency, performance and reliability of the managed Infrastructure
- Develop and deliver Infrastructure as Code solutions that enable partner engineering teams
- Drive improvements in capacity, reliability, availability, monitoring and performance of core tool stack systems
- Develop well-documented and flexible code in standard programming languages
- Design and develop DevOps tool stack interfaces that are clean, with a simple and common navigation structure
- Work with other team members, feature development teams, and Operations to collaborate on DevOps practice methodology design and development
- Collaborate with system, feature development, and operations partners as needed to resolved problems and identify root cause of tool stack defects
- Strategize best ways for implementing the continuous delivery (CD) of DSDE hybrid architectures
- Maintain quality of integrations between CD framework with other platforms related to log, trace, and metric aggregation as well as dashboard tools related to health and performance
- Govern tool and software adherence with 12 Factor Methodology standards
- Identify opportunities to improve development process and fulfill DSDE vision.
